A Change

Poetry for testing seasons

The days are getting shorter, less time in the sun.

Schoolwork’s getting heavier, no time for fun.

These cold, cold days bring much needed thought about my distant future, my worries, I fought.

and in the mess of papers and work I find solace in knowing

that in the end, the seasons still turn.
